“Flystudio was designed and built by me, Spencer Devine, as a personal training and study space in my garden in North London where I continue to research Wing Chun Martial Art . A wooden retreat and laboratory for experiments of a martial kind!
My personal Martial Art expression is precious to me, and I believe that ‘seeing yourself’ on film is an excellent way to improve your performance. I’m also a massive Hong Kong movie fan, so it felt right for me to dedicate my keen ‘Tiger’ eye to producing showreels and short films for Martial Art groups I have had the pleasure to be involved with over the years. Then I built Flystudio, and I began to film myself in preparation for a project I have had on my mind for ages.
Characterized by the element of wood, my current set-up enables me to capture some moments of my own training that I share online via Youtube. Lots of little ideas that I hope you see some sense within. My gift to you on your journey.
